
Dr. Perry K Tuneberg
Dr. Perry K. Tuneberg joined his father Dr. Richard Tuneberg’s practice in 1983. He graduated from Guilford High School and later graduated with honors from Drake University with a degree in biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School. His chief interests in dentistry are in the area of diagnosis, restorative and implant dental care.
Dr. Tuneberg is a past president of the Illinois State Dental Society and a former Trustee of the American Dental Association Board of Trustees. Dr. Tuneberg recently completed his service as chair of the Commission on Dental Accreditation, which is the US Department of Education recognized accrediting agency for all dental related education programs in the United States.
Dr. Tuneberg currently serves on the Commision on Dental Accreditation Standing Committee on International Accreditation and as a dental board examiner for the Central Regional Dental Testing Service. He has been on the Board of Directors for Dent-IL PAC, the legislative advocacy organizaton for the Illinois State Dental Society for over 30 years and serves as Co-Chair for the Local Arrangments for Illinois Mission of Mercy. He continues to work with a number of organizations and agencies providing veteran's oral care and donated dental services.
He is a recipient of the American Dental Association Presidential Citation for his efforts at the national level in expanding dental access for the underserved. In 2020, he received the Illinois State Dental Society Distinguished Member Award. He has been a featured speaker at the ADA's Washington Leadership Conference on mulitple occasions concerning legislative engagement and a speaker a the ADA Annual Session on expanded dental auxillary outreach and care.
In his spare time Dr. Tuneberg enjoys traveling with his wife, Dawn. He also enjoys reading, particularly in the areas of U.S. history and political science. He and Dawn have a daughter Erica, who lives in San Diego, California, and son Kent, who became the first third generation dentist to practice in Rockford, Illinois.

Dr. Kent Tuneberg
Dr. Kent Tuneberg was born and raised in Rockford. He attended Rockford Christian High School, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Kent completed his bachelor’s degree at Augustana College, where he graduated Cum Laude with a major in biology and a minor in biochemistry. He went on to attend Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine for his dental education, and graduated with his DMD in 2015. Dr. Kent represents the third generation of Tuneberg dentists providing oral health care in the Rockford area.
Kent met his wife Alex, in dental school, and she is currently practicing oral surgery in Rockford with Dr. Kurt Jensen at Oral & Facial Surgery Center. They have a golden retriever named Chester, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and watching the Chicago Cubs. Kent is excited to be back in Rockford and looks forward to serving this community for years to come.

Dr. Tsveta Vatcheva
Dr. Tsveta Vatcheva earned her Master of Science in Dentistry degree at Plovdiv University, Bulgaria in 1998 and practiced general dentistry in Bulgaria until moving with her family to the United States in 2004. Dr. Vatcheva entered into a (PASS) Program at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2008 with a Degree of Dental Medicine Doctor (DMD).
Dr. Vatcheva is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Winnebago County Dental Society. Dr. Vatcheva while being a general dentist has had extensive post-graduate training in Orthodontics and she has a special interest in delivering Orthodontic services as part of her practice.
Dr. Vatcheva performs dental exams and dental treatment for US Army Reserve and Army National Guard soldiers as part of the Reserve Health Readiness Program. She recently traveled to Germany and American Samoa to perform these services for soldiers abroad.

Dr. Ashley O'Reilly
Dr. Ashley O'Reilly began her education at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville where she graduated with honors as summa cum laude. She received a bachelor’s degree in Biology Medical Sciences with minors in chemistry and Spanish. She was then accepted into Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. Throughout her dental school career she was President of the Xsi Psi Phi fraternity and completed three pediatric dentistry externships. She graduated as cum laude from her dental school class.
Dr. O'Reilly is dedicated to helping her patients. She believes that education is the key to maintaining proper oral health care. She enjoys treating children and looks forward to becoming integrated into the community. Dr. O'Reilly has recently been married. She and her husband met in dental school. They both enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their 2 rescue dogs, Maggie and Gunner.
